They say that this works like this: your body will go into starvation mode after you skip a meal and your metabolism will slow down and you will burn fat slower. That’s not true!

It’s very obvious why they will want you to think that. The fitness industry wants to keep selling to you solutions for overweight problems. So if you begin to believe everything they say you might end up eating 6 meals each day.

The truth is that the body goes into starvation mode only after you skipped meals for about 1-2 days. It will also take the metabolism weeks of skipping meals for it to slow down.

Another story that everyone knows is that you should have your biggest meal during breakfast because it’s the most important meal of the day. But you will see better results if you have your biggest meal at night even if it sounds strange.

The body doesn’t have a clock that tells it is breakfast time. If you have small meals during the day and one big meal at night your body will use more proteins so it will burn more fat. The food then will go directly in your muscles after you do your exercises.

Many people that work in the fitness industry will tell you that this is not a healthy way to live. But people had seen good results from this approach. And there is no scientific proof that this method is unhealthy for you. Try it yourself for a few weeks and see the results.
